Beginning in 2004, Quantum Design, in strategic partnership with other manufacturers of laboratory instruments, began trading activities. The purpose of this part of our business is to allow other companies access to QD's distribution network. This includes our direct sales and customer service force, as well as, similar support functions provided through our distributors around the world.
