Position title: Superconducting Components Manufacturing Engineer
Department: Engineering
Reports to: Engineering Director
General Purpose:
This position is responsible for all aspects pertaining to the manufacturing of superconducting components and devices, including research and development, construction and testing of superconducting electronics and test coils. In addition, will carry out extensive hands on work with superconducting manufacturing equipment and cryogenic instrumentation. Responsible for detailed documentation of superconducting components and devices designs from the prototype stage to full scale production.

Education:
- Bachelor of Science technical degree in mechanical or electronics engineering.
- 5+ years experience in the successful manufacturing of superconducting devices and components in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid knowledge of cryogenic test equipment and liquid helium cryostats.
- Solid knowledge of cryogenic manufacturing testing techniques.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Experience and ability to design and work with ProE, SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
